Operating in one form or another since 1997, we here at Starbase968.com are dedicated to Role Playing in the Star Trek Universe.

Our primary duty station is the Ournal Class Starbase 968, the station sits in a similar position to where Deep Space 9 used to be. Various ships operate from the station, undertaking deep-space exploration, diplomacy, first contact, interdiction, colonization, tactical support, search and rescue and intelligence gathering amongst other varied and diverse missions.

We operate primarily in the Alpha Quadrant, from the spinward side of Sol Sector (home to the Sol/Terran system and Federation headquarters) to the Bajoran Sector (home to the Bajoran system), and the nearby borders the Federation shares with the Cardassian Union, the Klingon Empire, and the Ferengi Alliance. Via the Bajoran Wormhole, our Fleet is also charged with maintaining the first stable Federation presence in the Gamma Quadrant as established by the Federation and Dominion co-signed Treaty of Bajor, patroling and exploring a region of space of over 30,000 light-years.

Whether your an old hand at PBeM gaming or a new player with an interest in the Star Trek genre, we can offer you a comforable home. Where required, new players go through our academy process where they will meet veteran players who will teach them the basics of the game and help them begin their journey.
